1/14/10 More Park Loop Road

Brilliant sunshine,little wind, but cold-a beautiful day. One of our goals is to walk all of the Park Loop Road this winter and with the sections we did today ( snow well packed by snowmobiles making easy walking) we have only a short bit left. We started at the Cadillac Mtn. entrance and walked to the one way section and on it to the Kebo Mtn. trail head where we turned back as we had already done the next section. When we passed the Cadillac N. Ridge Trail Kelley started up it but it was very icy and I persuaded her to continue back the way we had come. We then took the road to Bubble Pond where we shared an apple and again turned back the way we had come. Back at the start we continued on toward the visitor center for a half hour, had lunch, and then turned and walked back to the car. 3 1/2 hours
