Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

1/8/16 Glenburn Snowmobile Trail

Around 30, sunny , and no wind. Another very nice day. This was our first time on the trail this year.

It starts off across a large field.

and then goes into the woods. You can see there had been little use of the trail and I had a problem with breaking through the crust occasionally - it was strong enough to support Kelley

The trail that branches off to the left had had no use so no choice to be made about route

This trail passes through areas of wet land ( we tried this trail in summer and it was too wet to hike) .

When we got to the hill where the trail swings left it had not been used but someone had gone straight across a field toward the road. We turned back and returned to the woods.

Another wet area where the trees have been killed

Some weeds in the snow

Not a bad hike but the trail was not as nice for walking as it usually is. Kelley did well. 1  1/2 hours
