Yesterday Kelley went for a short walk with friends and their dog at Essex Woods. They said she did well and brought ther home covered in mud. Today there will be better water.

Pretty good hike. No bugs and comfortable temps. Kelley did well and enjoyed meeting all the people. Usually we meet no one but today there were two groups of women, a mother and two girls, and a father and two girls, and a woman on her own. They were all doing Tunk (this trail to Tunk involves iron rungs so we do Tunk from another trail) so after Mud Pond we turned onto the Loop Trail we met no one. 1 3/4 hours
