Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

9/6/16 City Forest

Cloudy with a light mist. Kelley had to be persuaded to get in the car and we started from the parking lot rather than across the meadow, as we usually do,  in an attempt to get in a longer walk. That didn't work very well but we walked for 45 minutes and she got the beaver pond.

Lagging behind at the start

Still some flowers

Happy when we reached the pond

The lodge is overgrown and it appears uninhabited

There was lots of Queen Anne's Lace

And more wildflowers

So not really a hike but a bit of the trails and the pond.

  1. Love the bottom photo-are those Tansy? Pretty color.
Geez, Kelley really seems to be slowing down....but a 45 minute walk is still better than the average person could do. Hope she's feeling better.

    1. Thanks Sue and for the ID on the Tansy. We went to the vet yesterday for new meds and they did blood work that showed she's very good except for the knee problem. Started new meds last night and hoping for good results
