Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

3/12/18 Little Long Pond

We have another big storm coming so decided to drive to Acadia to see if I could get in a hike with Kelley. Thirty nine degrees and mostly sunny when we got there.

Obligatory shot of the pond

There was water for Kelley

We started on the West Side Trail but it had had little use so we went up to the carriage road. It had more use and better footing fo Kelley

Badly exposed pic of Kelley having an apple break

One more time in the pond

and a final picture of the pond.

Kelley has not been interested in hiking lately so I was very pleased that she did well and seemed happy to be out. We met a couple with their dog and that also made her happy.

    1. Kelley hasn't been interested and trail conditions have been terrible. Posted a short hike while you were writing this
